enable embedding through bbcode or html code. You don’t want images and bandwidth eating up space and bandwidth on your server.

The functionality is right there, just click the little image icon above. No need for html/bbcode, it’s all just markdown.

I could probably put together some quick documentation or something with some images maybe. It’s not overly complicated and the editor should make it pretty easy. You will have to find the actual remote image tho, things like https://gifer.com/embed/fyQ3 aren’t going to auto-expand (so you would want to point to the actual gif itself, i.gifer.com/fyQ3.gif)

Also, try out the Preview button, it’ll show you what your post will look like.

Doing the drag/drop for image requires the image to be saved locally, and after inspecting element I see when that’s done the pic is saved on the tug server (https://media.tug.gg). That’s why I was curious about embedding from the original source.

How about a button way to reply to a users specific post in a thread, or quoteing a specific post? I’m not seeing a way to do so.

There is currently no means to do that. It’d be more javascript that I don’t feel like writing. Notifications are probably a higher priority atm. Maybe one of these days or something.
